The story of coffee and me!
... continues from the previous posts.
Our family used to have a little coffee roasting hut not far away from the family house when Dad and Brother first started. Years later a factory in the outskirts of town.
A little cafe was also opened in town during that time so customers could sample all the different roasted coffee flavours and aromas. Signature menus were also served, where I had a very tiny responsibility of preparing some food on alternate days as I had a full time job then.
This we're talking about was in the mid Nineties.
Whenever, I visited the factory I was completely intoxicated by the coffee beans! I would be completely high and to sample a new roasting method, would throw me off balance completely yet it was such a pleasure of experience.
What's most interesting is, non of us in the family who ran the coffee business were coffee drinkers.
We were coffee connoisseur!
In order to maintain pure excellent coffee bean aromas and flavours, one has to to not be a coffee drinker.
Why? This is in order to maintain the high quality excellence of pure tastes in the roasting of coffee beans and it's requirements by different customers.
In all honesty, I knew nothing except enjoy its aroma, not even a sip and still be completely high with 'out of body' experience when I left the factory.
The story of coffee and me!
... continues.
